Why Choose Counselling?

Are you experiencing distress, anxiety or low moods?

Do you feel like your life is passively coasting along?

Do you struggle with feeling disconnected from yourself and others?

Life can bring many unexpected twists, turns and detours along the way. Working with a counsellor gives you the chance to carve out space for processing life’s challenges, finding peace and calm, and developing strategies to help you navigate the future.

I believe that you are the expert on your inner world. As a counsellor, my role is to provide a supportive space and guidance, walking alongside you as you explore your life and make meaningful choices.

Susan, a qualified integrative counsellor based in Belfast, offering online therapy across the UK and Ireland.

At the heart of my practice is a commitment to providing a warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental space for anyone seeking counselling.

I offer you the opportunity to reflect on your challenges in a safe and confidential environment, with the support of someone outside your everyday life. Together, we will work collaboratively to explore your situation, leading to fresh perspectives and a deeper understanding of yourself.

Counselling isn’t about offering solutions or advice but empowering you to make your own changes. Therefore, I focus on working closely with you throughout the process.

I hold a BSc (Hons) in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy and a Diploma in Integrative Counselling. I am committed to continually developing my skills and knowledge to better support my clients. As a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, I adhere to the highest professional standards.

As an integrative counsellor, I combine a range of therapeutic approaches, including Person-Centred, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic and more. I help clients overcome challenges such as low self-esteem, anger, stress and trauma. This holistic blend enables me to create a tailored, individualised approach that best supports your unique needs and fosters personal growth.

Emotional health

We often overlook and neglect our emotional health. Life is busy! Taking time to reflect on the state of our inner world can feel overwhelming - where do I start?

The decision to explore and understand it is both courageous and challenging, but it can be the start of finding healing, growth and hope.

A problem shared...

Everyone faces life’s challenges.

Counselling provides a safe and confidential space where you can freely express your thoughts and feelings.

Putting words to what is going on in the inside, can lead to understanding, healing and help you move forward in life.

Make better, healthier new choices

We can't change what we don't know.

By working together, I can help you gain deeper insight into the challenges you are facing, understand your responses to them, and learn how to make healthier, more positive choices.
